想跟各位請教一下關於綠卡體檢有效期限的問題:
去年10月初 USCIS提出了體檢有效期的修改,並於去年11月1日正式生效,詳細如下
SUBJECT: Validity of Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record (For
m I-693)
Purpose
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is updating policy guidance
in Volume 8, Part B of the USCIS Policy Manual regarding the period of time du
ring which a Form I-693 submitted in support of a related immigration benefits
application is considered valid. This policy is controlling and supersedes an
y prior guidance on the topic.
Background
Form I-693 is used by USCIS officers in determining whether an applicant for a
n immigration benefit in the United States is inadmissible under the health-re
lated grounds of inadmissibility. USCIS designates civil surgeons in the Unite
d States to conduct immigration medical examinations and record the resul
ts on Form I-693.3 Federal statutes and regulations do not prescribe the valid
ity period of Form I-693; rather, USCIS historically has established the valid
ity period by policy. USCIS is now updating the way the current maximum 2-year
validity period is calculated to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce
the need to request updated Form I-693 from applicants. This policy is effecti
ve November 1, 2018
Policy Highlights
A Form I-693 is valid only when a civil surgeon signs it no more than 60 days
before the date an applicant files the application for the underlying immigrat
ion benefit; and USCIS adjudicates the application within 2 years from the dat
e of the civil surgeon’s signature.
Citation
Volume 8: Admissibility, Part B, Health-Related Grounds of Inadmissibility

Certain Form I-693 submitted to USCIS before November 1, 2018 may be subject t
o the previous validity period policy as noted in the section below.
A completed Form I-693 submitted to USCIS before November 1, 2018 retains its
evidentiary value to support a finding that an applicant is not inadmissible b
ased on health-related grounds if it meets any of the following scenarios:
-The civil surgeon signs Form I-693 more than 60 days before the applicant fil
es the underlying benefit application with USCIS, but the applicant submits
Form I-693 to USCIS no more than 1 year after the civil surgeon signed Form I-
693; and USCIS issues a decision on the underlying benefit application no more
than 1 year after the date the applicant submitted Form I-693 to USCIS.
-The civil surgeon signs Form I-693 no more than 60 days before the applicant
files the underlying benefit application with USCIS; and USCIS issues a decisi
on on the underlying benefit application no more than 2 years after the date o
f the civil surgeon’s signature.
-The civil surgeon signs Form I-693, and the applicant submits Form I-693, aft
er the applicant files the benefit application with USCIS; and USCIS issues a
decision on the underlying benefit application no more than 2 years after the
date of the civil surgeon’s signature.
