沒有..講很久說要有, 一直都沒下文.
2.美國身分證號碼是不是等於護照號碼?是不是等於美國社會安全號碼?
美國人不用護照號碼做辨識. 過去會用社會安全號碼做辨識, 但是, 這幾年社會安全局要求大家都不可以用, 所以用這個號碼辨識的也越來越少了.
你信不信有些美國人是沒有護照的...不出國就不需要護照不是嗎?
那你問, 如果沒有身分證號碼, 怎麼找資料...習慣就好, 本來沒有的東西就會另外想辦法.
一般需要做辨識你是否是本人, 或是要知道你是不是已經成年, 是會用每州發行的駕照或是身分辨識卡(ID card)
3.美國護照多久必須換一次?新舊護照的號碼一不一樣?
成人是10年, 未成年好像是5年.
每次換都有新號碼.
4.從美國舊的護照號碼能不能查到美國身分證號碼或社會安全號碼?(我指在台灣查.非從美國查)
查不到, 你要從社會安全局下手. 如果你是美國公民, 找不到你的社安號碼, 可以去AIT要求協助. 申請一個新的.
5. 美國默認雙重國籍, 因為聯邦在這個議題上沒有共識.

1. Yes. However, unlike most of the world, the national government (the U.S. Federal Government) does not issue identification document (ID) or driver license (DL). Instead, this is an authority of the state or territories (including Washington, DC), based on 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
A DL is considered dual purposes for proof of driving privilege and ID.
2. No. Yes, in the past.
In the past, when identity theft and privacy were not concerns, states in fact used Social Security Number (SSN) as the person's ID/DL number.
However, this is no longer the case.
3. It is either based on necessity (such as totally used) or expiration (Adult: 10 years; Minor: 5 years), whichever comes first.
It is not necessary to renew a passport if there is no such need.
No passport number is the same.
4. Yes. You are required to provide your SSN for a passport application unless one has not been issued.
In that case, an authorized official of AIT will have access to a person's SSN.
In the alternative, you can request a copy of your application form under the Privacy Act.
5. Yes and no.
In principal, the U.S. allows multiple citizenships or nationalities.
In practice, it depends on how you acquire the citizenship. For example, if you become a Canadian after you have your U.S. citizenship, your U.S. citizenship can be in jeopardy.
Also, if you work for certain employers, you may be asked to renounce other citizenships in order to obtain security clearance from the U.S. Government.
