請教一下雷達回波圖 - 颱風討論

請問各位前輩
敝人這幾年常看雷達回波圖來預估天氣概況
覺得蠻好用的，但一直有個疑問
為何每張圖的間隔是10分鐘，而不是更短(例如5分鐘)？
甚至最新的回波圖是至少10分鐘前的，實用性上會稍打折扣
難道是資料的運算量太大，要將近10分鐘才能算出一張圖嗎？
或者是有其他原因？
