轉機問題 - 紐約

之前要去波士頓的時候
從台北搭國泰轉機到香港
再從香港搭美國大陸航空到紐約
再從紐約搭大陸航空搭到波士頓
那時在台北check in的時候
國泰人員說把我的行李掛到紐約(因為沒在美國轉機過，所以我不太清楚O不OK)
從紐約轉波士頓的班機只差2小時
那時候我從紐約下飛機，
竟然我要托著兩大帶的行李從機上走下來再去check in一次
不過紐華克的機場太大，check in的人又多
我錯過班機了，後來改搭下一班到波士頓
結果這班飛機又delay 4個小時
後來時間太晚我只好在波士頓住一晚...
請問這樣可以跟國泰申請賠償嘛?
還是怪我自己知識不足....?
