關於職業綠卡EB2配偶遞交I-485的問題 - 移民

爬文和精華區後得知如果未同時與主申請人遞交I-485的話,
必須等主申請人I-485被批准後,
配偶才能以follow to join的方式遞交I-485...

但辦理的律師的說法是
主申請人的I-485在批准前, 配偶還是可以遞交I-485,
只是若主申請人I-485批准後配偶才遞交的I-485變成follow to join

另在 Form I-485 Instructions, Page 5 上的第17點後看到:
Based on derivative status as the spouse or child of another
adjustment applicant or person granted permanent residence...
File your application with the application of the other
applicant, or with evidence that the application is pending
with USCIS or was approved, or with evidence that your
spouse or parent was granted permanent residence...
