電腦問題/無法連上BBS和MSN但是skype可以 - 洛杉磯

照下面這樣做
1. Configure the computer to automatically
obtain an IP address. Skype能連就是可以了(step 1+2)
2. Connect the computer to the network port in your room
using a network cable (alternatively, you can connect
to the UCLA public wireless network if it is available
in your area).
3. Open a web browser.
4. The Resnet Registration page will be presented.
5. Follow the instructions on the page.
6. You will be granted immediate access to the Internet
once completed.


我猜你同學沒有完成這個註冊手續，學校透過這個手續"自動"註冊
網卡的MAC Address。

假使因為原因，這些方式都失敗
請把設備拿拿到 Student Technology Center 請他們的服務人員註冊一下即可
他們的電話是(310) 825-3400
地點是在：The Student Technology Center (STC) is located in the center
of On-Campus Housing — across from Covel Commons.
也就是在大學生宿舍那附近，靠近你辦學生證的地方

基本上Skype能用的原因很複雜(簡單的講是他偷連其它人的skype 當bridge
走p2p的方式溜出去的…)

你的網卡沒開通，所以不能使用，可以的話就線上註冊
不行的話就走一趟STC
