一連好幾天有好多個颱風來，走了一個又來了一個，每一個的威力都不容小覷，使全台灣上上下下都緊張萬分。還記得那一個恐怖的颱風夜，狂風大聲怒吼的聲音......。
那一整個晚上，整個台灣都籠罩在颱風的狂雨之中，沒有一刻是平靜的。我靜靜的躺在床上，看到窗外地狂風暴雨，心裡卻是波濤洶湧。颱風就像是一個任性的調皮小孩，說來就來，說走就走，帶給我們的只有一堆等著我們去處理的殘局。
想到這裡，我從玻璃窗的震響驚醒過來。陣陣的撞擊聲搭配著暴雨聲，使我覺得十分害怕，趕緊跑出去問爸爸，玻璃是不是會破掉呢?
爸爸卻鎮靜的說：「不會的，我們這邊風較小，不會怎樣的。」看到他一點也不擔心的臉，我不禁放下心來。
本來覺得相安無事，突然燈一暗，原來停電了!!我們全家趕緊到客廳集合，妹妹拿出他的蠟燭，點起來雖然挺暗的，但還真有氣氛呢。雖然外頭是大風大浪，但我家卻是溫馨的。我就這樣安心入睡了。
一早起來，沒想到我家竟然也有災情!!我家浴室的天花板垮掉了!!這對我來說真是一個大災難，但是我一打開電視，看到的卻不只是這樣：有些人家發生水災；有些人在山中被困住了；有些人還跟家人分離了。雖然我沒親身經歷過這些事，但看到自己家園變成這樣，一定是又痛苦又難過吧。
因為全球暖化，颱風的威力漸漸增強，颱風已經成為台灣不可避免的事了。雖然事先做好準備還是會有災害發生，但我覺得大家同心協力保護我們的家園，就算是多幾個強颱來，也是打不倒我們捍衛家園的心!

Many typhoons came in the successive days. One went after another, whichever had strong power, making all people in Taiwan nervous. I still remembered that horrible typhoon night with loud bellow of the storm wind.
No moment was quiet in that night and the whole Taiwan was under the cover of the heavy rain of the typhoon. I lied in bed still with a jumpy mood, seeing the windy downpour outside the window. The typhoon was just like a naughty child who came and went at random. All it brought us was lots of mess we had to deal with.
Thinking of this, I woke up due to the vibrating sound of the panes. I was afraid of the continuous knock with heavy rain. I ran quickly to ask dad if the panes will break. ”Nothing will happen. The wind here was less strong.” said with a calm voice. I breathed a sigh of relief when seeing his easy face.
Just when I thought everything was under control, the light went out suddenly because of the electricity shortage. The whole family gathered quickly in the living room. My sister took a candle and lighted it. The atmosphere was really fantastic although it was a little dark inside. It was warm in my home despite the terrible weather. I fell in sleep with the relief.
I didn’t expect a disaster in my home when woke up in the morning. The collapse of the ceiling bathroom was a real disaster to me. However, I saw more than this on TV. Some suffered the flood, some got stuck in the mountain, and some separated with their family. Although I had never suffered this, I must be very upset and painful when I saw my home in this situation.
The power of the typhoon increases gradually with the global warming, and it is inevitable to Taiwan. No matter what preparation we did in advance, the disaster still happened. However, more typhoons can not beat us as long as we pull together to defend our homeland.
